Introducing Gravity Sketch
Glen will be introducing new and exciting ways to design in VR and this session he will be using Gravity Sketch on the Oculus Rift. VR is is such a hot topic these days whether it be immersive games or interactive experiences but what's really exciting for artists are the developers who are giving us creation tools right there in VR.
Gravity Sketch is more of a design tool than a sculpting program which means we are working with strokes and polygon patches that might be familiar to designers working in product, industrial and automotive design sectors. But there's a whole lot of features inside Gravity Sketch that means concept artists, creature and character designers and anyone wanting to make hugely detailed Robot killing machines are going to want to take a look at it.

Glen runs SouthernGFX, a small Cheshire based studio specialising in character and creature design and look development with clients including SKY, Nike,Sainsburys, Adidas, ATI, Screen Scene, Disney, Lego, Pixologic, Wacom. He's been using and training ZBrush in the UK for over 15 years and is a Wacom Ambassador for the UK and Ireland. More recently he has been creating in the VR space working with companies like Oculus Medium and now Gravity Sketch in the UK.
